About Sunosi

Sunosi is a dual-acting dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor used to treat excessive daytime sleepiness in adults with narcolepsy or obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Sunosi is not used to treat sleep apnea or other sleep disorders.

Sunosi is available only by prescription. It is available in a generic formulation under different brand names, including solriamfetol.

Sunosi may be prescribed as a tablet. It’s always important to follow the specific instructions on your prescription, as they can vary based on the formulation and dosage prescribed.

If you're prescribed Sunosi, complete the entire course of the prescription medicine unless your doctor specifically tells you to stop. If you don’t complete your prescription, the prescription drugs may not entirely reduce excessive daytime sleepiness.
