Welcome to LGC’s future home in Toronto
This summer, LGC’s new facility in Vaughan, near Toronto, will open - with colleagues from our existing site relocating to their new workplace.
??????????????It’s the latest chapter in a story that began more than 40 years ago, when Toronto Research Chemicals (TRC) was founded with a vision of providing the world’s researchers with access to specialised complex organic small molecules.
With TRC now part of LGC’s global network, the new building is helping us to stay true to these original ideals of innovation and progress – bringing our colleagues benefits such as improved safety, wellness and well-being, plus advanced security technology, and plenty of space for collaboration and growth.?
Located at 101 Milani Blvd., Vaughan, Ontario, the state-of-the art facility also provides concrete proof of LGC-TRC’s commitment to sustainability, positive values and an exceptional corporate culture - in line with our purpose of Science for a Safer World.

Making sustainability a reality
In line with LGC’s commitment to positively impact the environment, we’ve built a great number of sustainable features into our new building, including:
LED site lighting lasting up to 6x longer than other lights, meaning lower carbon emissions.
Stormwater management and landscape design that prevent water pollution, preserve water quality, and enhance biodiversity.
Energy efficient equipment, lighting and thermal controls, and high performance glazing – all helping to cut energy costs and emissions, improve operating performance and increase asset values.
Low flow water conserving fixtures that ease the strain on freshwater resources.
External views and terrace access: providing a great outlook on local nature, while improving energy efficiency by reducing demand for artificial lighting and indoor climate controls.
Low-emitting materials: contributing to healthier indoor environments by emitting fewer harmful pollutants.
Providing bicycle racks that help our teams and customers cycle to the site – taking cars off the road and decreasing harmful emissions.
