Meet Rosa Gomez, New Mexico Licensed Therapist

Rosa Gomez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Being fluent in both Spanish and English allows her to work with diverse populations. In 2012, she completed a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has worked for nonprofit organizations as a therapist working with children, adolescents and adults. Her focus areas are: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, stress management, relationships difficulties, trauma, and cultural issues.

To provide psychotherapy services has been her passion. She likes to assist people in their personal growth by encouraging their resilience and helping them tap into their potential to overcome life’s difficulties. As a holistic therapist, she uses different approaches depending on personal needs. She focuses on acceptance, empathy and non-judgment. Life teaches us through different experiences and challenges. By being aware of these lessons, we can find self-understanding and acceptance, both of which will help us face life challenges. Her role as a therapist is not to come up with solutions, but to assist you in finding them yourself. She will help you reach deep within yourself, because the solutions are there. She will help you find them.
